Jon looking down from a water tower that we climbed on Corregidor Island, Philippines. This was from a trip to Corregidor that we took in Christmas 1998.
Jon & I on top of the same water tower. We shared the joy of climbing, rope swings, and tree houses together wherever we met up.

This was on one of our many inner tubing trips on the Davao River. The banyan trees were great for tree climbing, and Jon was always the best tree climber. We often jumped out of the tree into the river.

Todd H: I went to school with Jon at D-C and I remember in 8th grade I was impressed with his artwork--I seem to recall him enjoying drawing trains, and I was impressed in how realistic he made it look. He had many talents and one of them was artwork!

(anonymous): Gosh i miss that boy...I still find myself mentioning him in so many conversations today and admiring his life of love and service. What a gift was this man of God!

Erma Unger: I was given your write up and read your story. I was so impressed. God works in difficult ways sometimes but we know he is always with us. I am from Dallas, Oregon. Hope you have a good timeat the daughters wedding.

Joy Barr: Jon and I used to wrestle each other from time to time and once when he almost had me pinned I got myself into an almost locked arched position and couldn't stop laughing. Jon stopped and gave up because he said he'd never wrestled anyone who laughed so hard during an wrestling time and it was ruining his concentration. I miss those times with him but know that in heaven we will share even greater and better things. We will share together in the glorious presence of our One and Only Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. God bless you all.
