Breaking Photos

In our class we get to break wood, bricks, roof tiles, and ice. Breaking is not only really cool and fun, but it's also a chance to focus all aspects of karate into one single point and moment in time.

The sensei slices through 8 bricks in one blow - note top two bricks, broken in two places on either side of the center; this is uncommon and is due to striking the brick's exact center (also note pride and awe in his student ... :o)).
