Christmas at home with Andy and Joe

After a great time in Corona with extended family, Katie, Joe, Andy and I returned to our place and celebrated Christmas together. We slept in (til about 10), opened gifts, cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon and Belgian waffles (around noon :) ), Skyped with Mom & Dad Peckham, and went for a hike in Carbon Canyon. We were up on a hilltop for sunset, and then stopped by Starbucks on the way back to make use of Joe's discount, and made a dinner of cheese fondue, bread and vegetables, and watched "The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe." It was a great day!

Tim: Dude...is that drool coming from Daniel's mouth?

Katie: He looks kind of panicked that it's not actually all going to fit

Katie: YAY!!! I love these! Goodbye wretched tupperware cupboard! or at least, the beginning of a long, slow goodbye process, since there are only 7 pieces in this set and I can't just throw out all my other pieces (YET!)

Katie: Needless to say, I did most of the ornament-hanging. The boys were sweet and tried to get into it, but were easily distracted by their computers and other stuff. I don't think tree-decorating means to them what it means to me, having grown up with it being a major part of family bonding time in my family ... :)

Joe: Um... wasn't it Carbon Canyon?

Sher: Isn't the outdoors beautiful?

Laser pointer on Andy's butt!

Sher: The 3 musketeers. Beautiful sunset - nice shot, Daniel.

Tim: Fondue? Who ever heard of fondue for Christmas?

Katie: um ... I don't think it makes a very good dumbbell little bro ;)
