Travel to Indonesia

After traveling for about 24 hours from LAX through Hong Kong to Singapore, our journey was only partly over. We then spent the night in the Singapore airport before flying our last 4-hour leg the next morning to Indonesia. Tiring? Yes, of course. But of all the airports in the world to spend the night in, Singapore's the one you want. Though don't be surprised if the airport police carrying big guns wake you up at 3 in the morning asking to see your passport and airplane tickets.

Yay! United has less leg room than I remember. But we got a good deal on the tickets, so I can't complain.

Starbucks is everywhere
This was pretty good.
We did the polar route, which looks kind of ridiculous if you don't think about the earth being round.
The best part about this is flying over Alaska.
Especially when you have a 5-hour sunset as you speed across the globe.
Maybe they'll sponsor me one of these days.
Yay for cool clouds.
This might be the edge of Russia, but I'm not exactly sure. Sadly, I didn't check out the map during this point of the flight.
The swimming pool at the Singapore airport is very nice. It was a great way to refresh after (sort of) sleeping through the night in the airport before our flight left for Indo.
Nice place to watch the planes.
