Christmas in Corona & Skiing in Big Bear

We celebrated Christmas with the Nystrom clan in Corona. As always, it was great to be with that side of the family.

Then Joe, Jessica, Andy, and I went up to Big Bear for some cross-country skiing for 2 days. It was great fun to be in the snow, and learn a bit more cross-country skiing from Andy. We managed to lose one snow chain, and break the second, so we had to buy new chains while we were up there.

The second day we took this hiking trail up towards a peak on the south side of the lake. The trail was hard to ski in some places due to felled trees and steep parts. But it was a lot of fun!
These trees were covered in ice.
