CES 2009

A couple weekends ago I went to Vegas for the weekend with Josh & Rob to attend CES (the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow). It was a fun time hanging out and seeing lots of cool technology.

Rock Band was everywhere, and this booth even had outfits to dress up in before performing.

There were lots of really thin displays, like this TV at the Samsung booth

Trying out the Samsung touchscreen vending machine.

There was a long line for this, but the reward was free coke, and a chance to try out the cool touchscreen.

When it came my turn, I somehow managed to crash the vending machine, revealing Windows XP underneath. Some edits to an XML file did the trick to fix it (no, I didn't edit it myself).

I couldn't help but laugh at these posters.

Samsung's booth was one of the most impressive.

I spent a good amount of time at the Canon booth playing with the 5D Mark II

This laptop would be really nice in some situations.

Nora MAe (Ball) Smith: I can see it now and I though in a split sec yea every bank every hospital every Police dept and even a new phone booth for those that don't want cells or think they are to costly are going to have full length screens and upon entry will start up and weight the person take the measurement s height etc record the heart beat as well maybe even x-ray the subject for potential weapons! and record all data and when they touch the screen pow finger print is recorded as well ! nothing better than a full length person to person call to you loved ones .... Yae I have a brain too! and they are recording the future with me love guys thank for sharing your crops of photos....
