Daniel's father traces back his lineage to the MacDonalds of Scotland. In Inverness, Katie found a kilt for Naomi in the MacDonald dress tartan.

Whin Park was an AWESOME public park in Inverness, about a mile up the river from town. It was enormous, and a perfect place for Naomi to blow off some steam and get some social interaction (she really missed living with the Snell kids on our 6-day road trip).
